Kyle Merritt MacLachlan (born on 22. February 1959, Yakima, Washington, USA ) is an American actor best known for his role of Paul 'Muad'Dib' Atreidis in the movie "Dune" and Agent Dale Cooper in "Twin Peaks", for witch he won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He is also known by his performances in "Blue Velvet", "Sex and The City" and "Desperate Housewives".
He is married to Desiree Gruber (2002- ).
