Rainier III, Prince of Monaco (born on May 31 1923, in Monacoville, , Monaco) was a Monaco royalty best known for ruling the Principality of Monaco for more than 50 years. (1949 - 2005). He married Oscar-winning American actress Grace Kelly on 19 April 1956, and they had three children - Princess Caroline Louise Marguerite, Princess Stéphanie Marie Elisabeth and Albert II, Prince of Monaco.

Rainier III, Prince of Monaco died on 06 Apr 2005, at the age of 81.
