Anne Bancroft was born on 17 Sep 1931, in United States, The Bronx. She was an American film, television and stage actress best known for playing the role of s Mrs. Robinson in the 1967 movie "The Graduate". Some of her other notable roles are in "Agnes of God", "The Turning Point", "The Pumpkin Eater", and "The Miracle Worker", for witch she won an Oscar award in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category.
