Richard Andrew Palethorpe-Todd (born on 11/06/1919, in Dublin, , Ireland) is an English film, television and stage actor best known for his successful acting career. After serving in the British army in World War II he started acting in 1949 movie "Warner Bros." for witch he received nomination for the Academy Award in Best Actor category. Some of his other notable roles are in "The Dam Busters", "A Man Called Peter", "Wuthering Heights", "Silent Witness" and "Doctor Who".
Richard Todd was married to actress Catherine Grant-Bogle (1949-1970) and model Virginia Mailer (1970-1992).
