August 1972, Berkeley, California, USA) is an American actor, screenwriter and director best known for his role in his Oscar winning 1997 movie "Good Will Hunting". After that success he established himself in several Hollywood blockbusters, such as "Armageddon", "Pearl Harbor", "Changing Lanes", "The Sum of All Fears" and "Daredevil".

He is married with actress Jennifer Garner (2005–present).
