Adrienne Jo Barbeau (born on 11. June 1945, Sacramento, California, USA) is an American actress best known for her movie roles in "The Fog", "Creepshow", "Swamp Thing" and "Escape from New York" and her Broadway stage work. Lately, she acted in the HBO TV series "Carnivale".

She was married to the Hollywood director John Carpenter (1979–1984), and is currently married to actor Billy Van Zandt (1992–).
