Know what you are growing
June-bearing, ever-bearing and day-neutral strawberries have different fruiting patterns. Check the label rather than expecting the same harvest timing from every plant.
Choose the place with care
Good light matters for fruit production. Allow space for the plants and pay attention to runners as the bed develops.
Keep the first record simple
Write the plant type on a label, note the planting date and take a photo from the same position as it grows. Small observations make the season easier to follow.
